Now I feel comfortable

In 'Back to School' journal entry, I wrote that I didn't like to go to school but now, I want to go to school. My family was right. I was just being lazy in Winter Break. Even though I have history project to do which is interviewing my grandfather and writing big historical event that happened to him, it was much more comfortable than just writing about ancient Egypt, Rome and those kind of subjects. From interviewing my grandfather, I could understand him better and also learned historical event.
I could make friends and they were more kind to me than in the first semester especially friends in Health class which was the class I worried most. But now, I feel comfortable because of good friends and kind teacher. I am learning Self Concept in Health and it was much easier than I expected it would be.
Everything is going very fine in school and I will try to work hard.

Haiti Update Post

There was a terrible earthquake in Haiti with a Richter Scale of 7.0 which destroyed lots of buildings. At first, Haitians were despaired, but now, things are getting better because of Temporary Protected Status (TPS). TPS helps countries that are destroyed badly because of arm conflict, environmental disaster or any other kinds. TPS is running by United States and United Nations supported foods, water and medical help to Haitian just in time. There were tons of people waiting for their food and injured people went to Miami for health care. Also, Venezuela's government sent a military plane with canned foods, medicine and drinking water and provided 50 rescue workers. For Haitians who worked in America and were supposed to go back to Haiti, Obama gave a permission to stay in America until Haiti recovers.

I never knew that America was helping Haitians this much and I wish Haiti recovers soon and no earthquake again.

Haiti Earthquake

What happened to a presidential building in Haiti? Why is there lots of cracks?

Unfortunately, it is because of a terrible earthquake. It was very unfortunate because Haiti is one of the poorest countries on earth and there was an earthquake. It was a massive earthquake with a Richter Scale of 7.0. The earthquake occurred for 1 minute which was long enough to damage shops, hospitals etc. So it was also able to damage the presidential building and other numerous government buildings. The witnesses saw that everyone was running along the street shouting 'Jesus, Jesus!' as the buildings were collapsing badly. After the earthquake struck the woman said that she walked on dead people' bodies. Everyone was feared dead and there were lots of dead people on a street. During the earthquake, the electricity went out so governments weren't able to contact each other which made a situation worse.

Back to School

Yesterday 3 weeks holiday was over and I was back school. Before I went to school, I thought about tests, projects and other things that made me don't want to go to school. But on the other hand, I really wanted to see my friends so when I thought about that, I was eager to go to school. When I told my family that I just wanted to stay home, they said that it is because I acted lazily not doing sports for 3 weeks. I think my family is right because the first day of school was much better than I thought it would be. And I will be enjoying going to school when I study for 1 month and active like before. But still, I am afraid (?) about my school projects and new subjects I will study such as Design Art, Art and Health. : )

Winter Break

Winter Break was short but I still had a lot of fun. One of them was Christmas present which I will talk about it now.For Christmas, I thought my parents would just hug me or whatever that wouldn't cost money. I didn't expect to get a present as well but I was wrong. I got a present that made me happy. It is a Lego car. It isn't just a normal car like the one I have to move it with my hands but it has a controller so I thought it would be much. And I was right. I constructed a car already and now, I am quite expert at controlling them.
Now, I will write about a movie I watched. The movie was quite cool which is Avatar. It is a story like this: Humans used almost all energy and had to find a place to get an alternative energy. They knew where it was, the planet 'Pandora'. But they didn't know where exactly they could get an alternative energy. Eventually, the humans find out the place and fought with creatures living in Pandora called Na'vi. They had two big wars. For the first war, the humans won but for the second war, Na'vi won completely (There were 2 people helping for Na'vi because they knew it was wrong to fight with Na'vi just to get an alternative energy). I strongly recommend you to watch this movie.
I had a good 3 weeks holiday and I especially enjoyed watching movies. I want to try other movies like Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 or Sherlock Holmes and also talk a little about it.

Eat and Shopping!!!

Yesterday, I went to PIM with my family to eat dinner. At first, we decided to go to Sushi Tei but my father said he prefers Opa so we went there. There are delicious foods like crabs and lobsters but because we went there late, there weren't any lobsters and crabs so we ate 'shab shab' (I don't know what it is called in English) and shrimps. We can choose ingredients we want for shab shab and we chose noodle, udon, meat, cabbage and lettuce. It seems a little but actually it's enough because of shrimps and rice. We didn't eat plain white rice but we mixed it with shab shab after we finished eating it. We also added some garlic, sesame, shallot. I don't like food that contains vegetables but this food was luscious!!!
After we finished dinner, we went shopping. My mom promised to buy me two clothes and she did. We were wandering around the mall and suddenly my mom suggested me to go to bossini. I like bossini clothes so I went there. As I expected, there were good clothes and they were all 30% sale. After we discussed which two clothes were the best, I finally bought two clothes which you can see at the top pictures. My mom and my sister also bought some clothes and my family were pleased because we always wandered about 1 hour to buy one clothes but this time, we didn't.
After we came back to home, it was time for bed and everyone slept happily especially my sister.
